I've been thinking of giving my hair a spring chop & cutting  approximately 10..count em...10 inches off of my hair... I'm loving these styles as inspiration...what do you think?  To chop or not to chop?

FLORAL LEGS

This is one of my favorite outfit's that I've worn lately.  I've had these leggings for a while now, but rarely wore them out of the house, however, I was inspired by this look on Pink Peonies. I love how she made lounge wear look awesome by pairing casual leggings with heels. If you're wanting to try out a look like this without spending a bundle, H&M currently has a ton of printed leggings available on their website & in stores.

Happy Monday! Starting off the week with a bang of neon pink.  I love the bright color & simple shape of this dress.  Numerous celebs have been spotted rocking high socks recently.  I took a risk with thigh highs, since I am refusing to wear tights this close to May ... I felt very Cher Horowitz.  What do you think? Would you wear thigh highs?

TGIF! As soon as the weather gets warm, I gravitate towards outfits that show off my legs, so get ready to see lots of skirts, while still keeping covered up & warm on the top. A prime example: the outfit above, which features a mini skirt with a long sleeve top & light weight jacket because as Miss. Congeniality states, "[The perfect date is] April 25th...it's not too hot, not too cold, all you need is a light jacket."

This outfit is a look back of what I wore on Easter Sunday.  After the age of 8, pastel dresses & white tights get a little old. But if you know me, you know I love any reason to dress up, so of course I used the holiday as an excuse. The weather was gorgeous so even though our family celebration is low key, I decided to create a spring time ensemble with the focus on this bright floral dress.

I love planning mid-week dinner dates because it gives me something to look forward to & seems to make the week fly by.  This week, I'm excited to watch (fingers crossed!) the Rangers beat the Flyers with J & catch up with one of my closest girlfriends over dinner & drinks.  I am loving my latest accessories purchased for spring & use any excuse to dress up and wear them.

I have a busy one planned - Easter lunch, belated birthday celebrations & the picking up of my newest purchase - a Jeep Liberty! I am so excited to announce that I recently made my first  'big girl' purchase (that is not fashion/accessory related, because let's be serious, Tory Burch & David Yurman definitely count for something, in my mind). I have been without a car for a bit, but made the decision to buy one just in time for days at the beach & hopefully, a few fun weekend getaways as the weather gets nicer.  I'll be sure to post a few photos once it's mine!

I try to shy away from black during the spring time but some days, I just love the dark. I keep a mono-colored outfit from getting too boring, by wearing interesting shapes & fabrics! I decided to pair a peplum leather skirt with a cotton peplum top.  I finished off the look with patterned tights & black suede booties for a look that is anything but basic black.

Can you believe I have had these wedges since high school?! I just can't bear to part with them.  They were one of my first pair of wedges/heels & even though I barely wear them anymore, they are so comfortable & a great conversation starter - I have yet to see another pair of booties as funky as these.  
Everyone seems to have that one piece they can't get rid of...what's yours?

I am off from work today for a fun reason! It's my sister's birthday! So, I want to take a moment to send her a special birthday shoutout & gush about how awesome she is.  My sister has grown into the most fun, most beautiful 20 year old. I am so blessed to have her in my life as my friend, confidant & shopping buddy. I'm also pretty lucky that we share some DNA & turned out to be the same size in clothing - because she has great fashion sense. Love you sis.  Here's to another decade ;)
