J & I had the chance to visit The High Line for the first time a couple weeks ago. In case you've never been or don't know what I'm referring to, the High Line is kind of like the secret garden of NYC.   It's a public park built above the streets along the path of an old freight rail line.  Along the walk, we passed overlooks, gardens & lawns where people were tanning, reading & relaxing.  There  were also numerous gathering spaces for times when events or performances are held.  

A walk above the hustle & bustle of NYC was a nice way to end a busy work week.  Plus, the park is free to the public & open late during the summer! If you're in NY & haven't had the chance to visit, I highly, pun intended ;), recommend it.
