I am a huge fan of carry-all bags during the week.  The bigger the tote, the better, in my mind.  I carry a lot. In edition to my everyday items, (pictured) I usually toss my iPad & lunch in during the week, along with possibly a sweater, an extra pair of shoes or an umbrella, depending on the day ( Sometimes all 3 ;) ). 

 Besides the normal wallet, phone, keys & makeup that most people carry, I carry:
1. 2-4 pairs of Ray Ban aviators; I love the shape & size of them, plus I have found them to be surprisingly durable.  
2. Cereal bars or some type of trail mix for times when my blood sugar gets too low.  Trader Joe's makes tasty treats to carry along.  
3. Socks. My feet get so cold all the time, so I always have an extra pair of socks with me, just in case.
