Don't get me wrong, I adore my low rise pair of Converse sneakers (see them recently here & here), but I was due for a bright, white, new pair of Chucks. I decided to test the waters with high tops & I couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Since then, I have paired my sneakers with everything from jeans to dresses. I love how they can take an outfit and instantly make it sporty & cool.
Style Tip: I was worried about how slim the Converse high tops fit at the ankle, so I pulled the laces as loose as possible without my foot slipping while I walked. They look wider & way more relaxed this way :)
I almost threw a black blazer & a pair of heels on with this gray knit dress, but then decided Fridays call for a more casual look & opted for my favorite denim jacket & my sneakers.

I absolutely love this combo, it's really such a great idea to top the slouchy/sexy dress with a jean jacket and pair with high tops, which I always wonder how to wear!
