J & I spent this past weekend in Philadelphia. We had such a good time exploring a new city, so I thought I would share a few of my favorite photos from the weekend!
We arrived on Friday and walked around Reading Terminal Market, which is literally like a giant food court & has every type of food you can imagine. One of my favorite pit-stops was to pick up some of the BEST donuts that I have ever eaten. (Fruity Pebbles = 2 thumbs up)
(obviously, documenting my donut)
We spent Saturday at the Philadelphia Flower Show. The theme this year was 'Celebrate the Movies' & the displays were so impressive. In addition to the elaborate creations, there is an area for shopping as well as an area to walk around discovering types of flowers & plants you probably never even knew existed. (The show continues until March 8, so if you are in the Philadelphia area, I totally recommend making a day of it!)
Below are a few of my favorite movie inspired displays; can you tell which movies they represent?
Aladdin
Cinderella
Beauty & The Beast
The Wizard of Oz
Jurassic Park
Saturday night was our main event: watching the Rangers/Flyers hockey game! It was so cool to visit a different arena & see how fans cheer on their home teams - this Flyers team is all about toughness. With the exception of a few "boo's," seeing the game at an away arena was a great time! I just wish my boys could have pulled off a win :/ ah well!
pay attention, Mich! oops
Thanks for such a fun time Philadelphia!
So jealous that you got to go a hockey game, its one of the things I would love to do :) Such beautiful photos!

There's a HUGE one in NYC - I think this one was a knockoff but it was still pretty, because you would see the entire city behind it :)
DeleteLooks like a great time! Those floral displays look amazing :)
