SHOP: FOR THE MAMAS
Mother's Day is just about two weeks away! I don't know about you, but shopping for my mom is always the hardest person to buy for! She's all 'I don't need anything...' Well, a gift will never be come close to the love & support she's given you all these years, but below are a few gift ideas to thank your mama for being such a great mom 365 days a year!
XO,
Michelle Paige
BRIGHT BLAZER
Hope you all had a great weekend! J & I spent the weekend in East Hampton (which means, yay(!) it's gotta be almost beach season). I feel like in movies the Hampton's always looks like this crazy place with celebs & Diddy's white parties, but my grandparents have a house in a quiet little neighborhood right near the beach & it is truly my favorite place to visit to relax! I already can't wait to go back!

SLIP ON
Boy oh boy, have I been obsessed with sporty looks lately! I go through these phases sometimes - where I become totally obsessed with one style - right now it's sporty. I'm not sure how long it will last or even what caused it, but I am loving backpacks and sneakers and everything downtown cool-girl right now.
FUN IN FRINGE
By now, I'm sure you know fringe is a MAJOR trend for spring. It is truly everywhere - shoes, bags, clothing & personally, I love the fun feel of it swishing around. My last look featuring fringe was way more bohemian than I normally wear. But sometimes it is fun to play dress up & step out of your comfort zone - after all, isn't that what fashion risks are all about?
For this look, I wanted to show you all how to wear the fringe trend without looking like you spent the day at Coachella. This bright teal dress was perfect for a fun date night. I kept the accessories casual & modern.
CASUAL FRIDAY
Let's be honest - everyday is pretty casual for me, but on Friday's, an ideal look is one that I can take straight from my office to a casual date night with J. I love the idea of adding fun flats & a colorful purse to an otherwise basic look. I am obsessed with this military inspired spring jacket that I stole from my sister's room! Hey, that's what siblings are for, right?
BECAUSE IT'S THE CUP
It's the most wonderful time of the year - New York Rangers playoffs!
As a faithful Blue-Shirt, no item was better to celebrate the start of playoffs than my blue striped dress (except maybe my jersey, but not sure it's workplace appropriate!). Paired with sporty red & white accessories, I love this girly Ranger outfit ;)
BOLD
As much as I love feminine & girly looks, I cannot get over these fun New Balance sneakers lately. Every time I open my closet, it's like they are calling out for me to put them on! I love bringing out the neon colors in the sneakers (last time I wore this look). This time I decided to let my yellow coat bring out the bright yellow accents in the sneakers.
SPRING FRINGE
I rarely go full on boho with my looks; I like the ability to show off my shape in some way and prefer a bit of structure in each look. However, I grabbed this Zara tunic the second I saw it in stores. It is so simple, yet the details make it so interesting. Plus, popular trends for spring include fringe & tunics. Nothing I love more than killing two fashion birds with one stone.

FAKE SPRING BREAK
Spring break has come & gone & whether your tan is already starting to fade like mine is, or you didn't get the chance to take a trip this year, I'm sure we are all wishing we were somewhere warm and sunny. Lucky for you, today I'm taking you on a virtual trip to no where to help you achieve that just-returned-from-spring-break look ;)
Nails: This one is easy! Ditch those dark colors & neutral polish shades at your next manicure in exchange for a bright, fun color (or multiple colors)! As you can see, I love adding a little bit of sparkle or nail art; my Puerto Rico manicure was a bright coral shade with a fun palm tree design!

BONUS: O.P.I. just released their Hawaii collection! Shop the colors (or just get some ideas) below:
Hair: It's easy to get those beach waves without the beach day, thanks to a bit of dry shampoo and some salt spray. My favorites are without a doubt Tresemme Dry Shampoo and Bumble & Bumble Salt Spray. Both give my hair just the right amount of messiness and wave for that just back from the beach look.
If you need a bit of extra wave, I recommend wrapping random sections of hair around a tapered wand. Wrap some on the wand towards your face & some away from your face for a less-done, beachy look.
Skin: Getting a tan in New York weather is basically not possible right now, and while I'll admit, I was once an avid tanning bed user, I am all about safe tanning nowadays. (Your 50 year old self will thank you!) By far, my favorite self tanning brand that I've used is Vita Liberata. Their products are made with tons of organic ingredients which won't dry out or damage your skin.
I use their self tan tinted tanning lotion on my body & it gives me the best glow without looking streaky or turning my skin orange! On my face, I have been using their brand new bronzing minerals powder. That's right, a powder that builds a long lasting tan even after you cleanse your face at night. Plus, it comes in different shades to help you achieve a tan that's just right for you. How amazing is that?
Even better, one of YOU have the chance to win some of the products so you can treat yourself to your own mini stay-cation (worth over $75)!
Be sure you are subscribed to Michelle's Pa(i)ge!
Then leave a comment on this post with your dream vacation destination, & email address! (I need to be able to reach you if you are chosen as the winner!)

Michelle Paige
A GOOD FRIDAY
Can you believe Easter is this weekend? It seems like Lent just started! I am so proud of myself for giving up candy for 40 days & 40 nights. It wasn't easy! I have the biggest sweet tooth & was reaching for at least one piece of something sweet almost everyday, especially after the huge stash I acquired during Valentine's Day.
