You all know I have a deep love (bordering on obsession) for my denim pieces, so for spring, nothing was higher on my wish list than a denim shift dress. There are tons of denim shirt dresses floating around the stores, but not many tailored shift dresses that I could find. You can imagine my excitement when I came across this one on the Nordstrom website, on sale non the less!
Last season brought on the return of comfortable footwear, with sneakers & Birkenstock's reintroduced as 'fashionable.' This season, the mid/low heel joins the comfortable shoes club. As someone who walks a decent amount around NYC each day, high heels are not the most practical for me, so I love the idea of being comfortable but still on trend.

DeleteI have literally tried on 6 or 7 of these denim dresses and I am still so torn about how I feel about them. I think, does this make me look like a county housewife?Haha. I think you have the right idea pairing it with girly accessories. Maybe I need to try it that way instead of my ponytail and flip flops ;)

I felt that way when I first put on my denim skirt. Keep looking! I would recommend a fitted one & maybe a dark wash or a light wash instead of somewhere in the middle that will make the dress look less denim-y & a bit more dressy. You know what I mean? :)
