For some reason, I find monochrome looks a bit more difficult to wear in the spring & summer. Maybe that's because I usually just toss on a dress & call it a day, but this time I was able to match my accessories perfectly to this dress, right down to my latest manicure!
I'm always a little worried when wearing a flare skirt dress, like this one, because as soon as the wind blows, I am having a Marilyn Monroe moment. Thank goodness for Skimmies. A lightweight short created by Jockey to give me the extra coverage that I need when wearing (or twirling in) a flowy, mini dress.

So glad you're not the only one worried about the wind! I still shudder when I think of the MM moment I had years ago, and the embarrassment and public shock and awe that occurred. (Thankfully I was in a far away locale, no one would ever see me again). I've avoided dresses like this really ever since (or have planned my days around the weather!) Now I'm going to have to check out Skimmies! Thanks!
