I had the absolute pleasure of taking part in some NYFW events this week (& have some more coming up this weekend & next week, so stay tuned!) It is such a blast to be able to attend runway shows, connect with brands and meet some of the bloggers that I've formed relationships with virtually.  I never in a million years thought I would be able to say I have blogger friends from around the country or that I've attended runway shows for designers, but now I can.  I even got to bring my fashionista, partner in crime, sister along with me to an event this week :)

Isn't this matching set the absolute perfect outfit for Fashion Week in New York?! I love that it is trendy, sporty, edgy and classic all in one.

I'll be honest, this was my first time ever stepping into a pair of culottes.  I know they have been back in style for a bit now, but I can't help imagining my 7th grade self in gaucho pants (complete with sparkly scarf belt) whenever I saw a pair.  But when I saw this matching set on Lyon & Post, I just knew I had to test out this look.

I love the classic color palette, unique pattern and sporty vibes of this C/Meo set and while I'm still unsure about whether or not I've fully jumped on the culotte train, I did have a super fun time in this outfit!
