I always can tell I'm having a good outfit day when both my mom and my sister compliment me on my outfit. I think to think of myself as somewhere in the middle of the two of them style-wise; my sister is edgier than I am (think rips & crop tops) while my mom is a bit more conservative.
So when they are both loving my outfit as much as I am for a certain day, I know I've done something right.
I think a look like this one can be flattering and look great on someone at any age. Plus it's super easy to put together:
1. A neutral, slim fit top. Nothing too clingy & added bonus if there is some type of embellishment or interesting design around the neckline which will help draw the eye up towards your face.
2. Skinny jeans. Since it's summer, I have been living in my white jeans, but blue denim is just as good.
3. Wedges. In the spring and summer, I am all about wedges. They are so much easier to walk in and so much more comfortable than balancing in a pair of stilettos all day. I love this pair so much & appreciate that they lace up in front, making them even more comfortable for long days. For fall, I am excited to buy some wedge booties.
4. Neutral accessories. While it is sometimes a blast to wear a bright colored bag or mirrored sunglasses, neutral colors always work to create a classic look. I am loving my bucket bag lately & have been literally using it everyday, but that's OK because it matches every outfit! :)
