Burgundy & navy are 100% two of the colors that I wore most this season.  I have worn burgundy booties, burgundy dresses and a burgundy skirt as well as styled a navy look for work, a navy wrap dress and a navy sleeveless sweater.  But the one piece that I have felt has been missing from my closet all season is a pair of navy booties.  Finally, today, my closet is complete (at least for this week) thanks to these cute boots from Skechers!

When I first set out to find a pair of navy booties, I thought the process of finding a great pair would be simple.  There are so many statement making booties out there, so this should be easy right?  Wrong.  Finding navy boots came to be hard work and I had almost given up until I spotted this navy pair at Skechers.  I was able to check off all my requirements with this pair: navy color? stacked heels? comfortable for all day wear? Check, check, check!

It has been rare this season that I have combined these two shades and I'm not sure why that is.  I love the combo that the rich shades create when paired together. If you're STILL searching for that perfect Thanksgiving outfit, a turtleneck sweater & jeans is a classic combo that doesn't require many accessories.  A scarf or statement necklace will add the perfect holiday touch; this scarf was the perfect finishing touch to tie the entire look together.
