Thanksgiving is my absolute favorite holiday! I love seeing my extended family and spending time together. Not to mention, I love any holiday that revolves around food! As with any holiday, I like to dress up a bit more than I would on a typical day, but since this holiday is mainly about food & family, I look for an outfit that is super cozy & comfortable. A bit of stretch to accommodate my after dinner food baby doesn't hurt either ;)
I have to admit, I am obsessed with this look from head to toe. I love the fall color palette and cozy details in the sweater and furry vest. Both are stunning in person and also so soft.
I have raved about the perfect fit of American Eagle jeans in the past, and this pair is no exception. I love the unique olive color of this pair & the fact that they have lots of stretch make them perfect for Thanksgiving Day!
Also, not to be left out, can we talk about my great shoes?! I am such a fan of booties & love out of the box colors & styles. No one does fun colors or details on boots/shoes as great as Vince Camuto. I was so excited to receive this pair & have been wearing them non stop ever since. The dark olive color is surprising easy to wear as a neutral & looks great paired with black, white & gray as well as unexpected colors like cobalt blue or orange.

DeleteBeing foreigners (my husband is from South Italy, I'm from Borneo), we don't really have an extended family in the States to celebrate Thanksgiving. In fact, it's not something we actually have where we come from. That said, our children have grown up to be as American as cherry pie so we take the opportunity to pig out and just enjoy being a family :) it doesn't hurt that Autumn is that time of year when we start feeling all warm and mushy and Christmassy, huh??
