 You may have noticed that when I like something, I really like it a lot & wear it often.  Right now, in the freezing temperatures, my favorite things are my over the knee boots.  I just got a second pair for the holidays, but this black pair has been a favorite of mine for a while.  They go with everything from leggings to skirts to sweater dresses, like today!

3 ways to style over the knee boots

OTK boots with a sweater dress: I love that over the knee boots allow you to go tights free, even in the coldest temperatures!  Even with these tall boots, I still have a peek of skin showing between the hem of my dress & the start of my boots, so a warm, cozy dress was essential for this styling! This sweater dress is perfect for a cold day & I am totally obsessed with the gorgeous colors in the knit.  My mint clutch finished off this outfit perfectly.

OTK boots with a skirt:  All types of skirts work well with over the knee styles.  Wear them with lots of layers on top & a mini skirt to show off a little leg or try your OTK boots with a midi skirt.  This styling will you keep you covered up on the coldest days but still allows you to go tights free!

OTK boots with leggings -  Since these boots come up so high on the leg & add some bulk to your lower half, super slim fitting pants or leggings are the perfect pairing.  Just be sure to wear a longer sweater or tunic top. It's all about balance when wearing leggings :)
