By now, you have seen me wearing my Stan Smith sneakers with a ton of dressed down, easy looks (seen here & here), but the great part about this particular pair of sneakers is that they truly go with anything! One of the main words that I use to describe my style is 'casual,' so I love that it is now acceptable to wear a dress or skirt with sneakers - no more days of aching feet in high heels. The balance of a flirty dress or skirt with a pair of classic sneakers creates an unexpected & very cool combo - if I do say so myself.
In spirit of St Patrick's Day, I did choose to wear green in today's look, however I am not Irish, nor am I really a fan of the bright Irish flag green color - it's just not all that flattering on me. I do, however, love this deep forest green shade & love how the combo of this leather pencil skirt & soft knit sweater look almost like a dress when paired together (another day, another monochrome outfit...).
Sweater: American Eagle (seen here) | Skirt: LOFT (seen here) (love this one for spring) | Sneakers: Adidas (seen here) | Sunglasses: Ray Ban | Jewelry: Michael Kors
Have you swapped your heels for a sleek pair of sneakers? Try it.
Your feet with thank you :)
XO,
Michelle Paige
