INTRODUCING: STITCH FIX MEN




I am so excited to welcome J back to my blog this week to help me introduce a new Stitch Fix feature that I am super excited about: Stitch Fix Men!  Any of you ladies not only shop for yourselves, but also for your S.O.?   I always seem to end up being the one picking out new clothes for J - he loves getting and wearing new clothes but hates the process of searching for them and trying them on.  Stitch Fix Men was a thrilling addition to Stitch Fix for both of us.  Now, we both were able to receive a personalized box of clothing and accessories delivered right to our doors - no effort required! Today I'm sharing some of J's favorite pieces that he received in his very first Fix (and some of my favorites from my latest Fix!)

BOMBER JACKET OUTFIT




If you buy one new jacket for fall this season, make it the bomber jacket.  This jacket is the bomb.com (pun intended!). I love the sporty, casual shape and the huge range of colors & designs.  After observing what seems like hundreds of bomber jackets over the last month or so, I finally decided on a classic green bomber jacket. I am in LOVE with this piece and it is slowly getting passed around my house so everyone can have a turn to wear it.   This lightweight piece is perfect early fall layering and looks great with a huge range of outfits.  Read on for a list of all of my favorite jacket styles for the fall...

MY FALL UNIFORM





  A neutral outfit is one of those that will never go out of style - you just can't go wrong with white, browns or black so I wear outfits like this on repeat all through the fall and winter.  Since jeans & a sweater becomes my fall uniform, I love pieces that have special design details like a laced up front.  

THE PERFECT TRAVEL OUTFIT




We are back from our trip and while it was so tough to come home, there is nothing like sleeping in your own bed after a week away. Today I'm sharing my version of the perfect outfit to travel in. The entire outfit is really centered around these joggers -  they are super comfy and cozy but don't look at all like pajamas and have an nice tailored fit. 

SHOP: MAKE YOUR SUMMER TAN LAST

Summer has sadly come to an end, but that doesn't mean your summer tan has to go fade as well. Lucky for you all I have tried just about every self tanning product under the sun and today I'm sharing a few of my favorites to keep your glow lasting all winter look.

FOR FACE: Vita Liberata Trystal Minerals Bronzer. You apply this product as you would a normal bronzer but it actually builds a lasting tan as you wear it. Tip I've Learned: Apply this bronzer over your liquid foundation or moisturizer.  It seems to work much better & quicker that way :)

FOR BODY: Vita Liberata Fabulous Self Tanning Gradual Lotion. A tinted lotion that offers instant color & builds a tan over time. I love that this product isn't super smelly and leaves my skin feeling as though I just applied a normal moisturizing lotion - nourished and healthy. Plus, it dries in just a few minutes, so I can get dressed and go about my day.  Tip: Use a tanning glove!!! It will turn your palms orange.

PRE SHOWER: NKD SKN Pre Shower Tan. One of my favorite products since you actually apply this lotion prior to taking a shower! Let it sit for about 10 minutes and then shower as normal and rinse off any excess lotion.  I love that this lotion leaves me streak free since I can buff away and areas where I over applied in the shower and I am able to get dressed immediately after my shower. Barely any wait time!

LONG LASTING: Vita Liberata Phenomenal 3 Week Tan Mousse. A three week tan is enough to convince me but once you see the color this gives you, you'll be hooked.  I love the instant bronze shade that I am left with and that the lotion itself is a bronze shade so I can see exactly where I am applying the formula. Tip: Start off slow with this one - a little definitely goes a long way, and of course, always use a tanning mitt!

MEET MY GUEST: ELEGANCE & MOMMYHOOD


Hi guys. I am Ada, the blogger (and mom) behind Elegance and Mommyhood, a blog on my every-day style as a mom and busy housewife, and a few office outfits every now and then. ANIMAL PRINT SWEATER






Today I am wearing one of my all time favorite prints: leopard! Now animal prints are a big trend for fall but they can be tricky to wear. Too much of a single animal print and you start to resemble that animal, too many animal prints at once and you will resemble the entire jungle! Just a touch of leopard print is more than enough and will certainly make a statement in your look.  This Talbots sweater paired with boyfriend jeans was the perfect mix of simple & statement making.

MEET MY GUEST: NORTHWEST BLONDE

back to school style checklist

Hello gorgeous! Ana Luiza here from Northwest Blonde. I'm excited to be here on Michelle's Pa(i)ge today talking to you ladies about a fall favorite: plaid.

It's September and in the style world that means fall so we are all excited to be breaking out those plaid pieces! But there can be a fine line between a cute touch of fall pattern and full on lumberjack (trust me, I'm from Seattle and I see this all the time). Here are 4 do's and don'ts that will always have you looking all kinds of fall cute!

SHOP: FLIGHT ESSENTIALS

As of 8am tomorrow morning, J & I will be on a plane headed somewhere sunny for the next week! (Check out @michelle.orsi on Snapchat or @michelle_orsi on Instagram to find out where we are going!) I am so excited to escape the hustle and bustle of real life and spend some time in a tropical paradise. Don't worry, I have some great content + some fun guest posts planned for you all! Today, let's start with all of the essential items that I can't fly without.

 1. cozy socks - anything I can do to make my plane ride more comfortable, I do, including wearing a cozy sweater on the plane and slipping on a pair of cozy socks while we are in the air. Bonus points when they have a cute print like this leopard pair.
2. sunglasses - Plane rides usually mean make up free faces, but early morning flights mean tired eyes, so sunglasses always come in handy in the airport.
3. sleeping mask
4. portable charger - I always bring a charger with me. My worst nightmare is ending up stuck somewhere with a dead phone, so I love having a portable charger with me. This floral one is SO cute! 
5. earbuds
6. evian facial spray - the air on the planes get so dry, this evian spray is an easy item to toss into your bag to keep your face and skin feeling fresh & moisturized. 
7. passport holder
8. luggage tags - I love this bright pink one so I can easily spot my bag among the thousands of other black suitcases.

 Also - don't forget - reading material! Magazines & some good books are must haves for me on the plane ride and when we arrive. A few of the best books that I've read lately include: anything by Liane Moriarty (Big Little Lies), The Luckiest Girl Alive, The Girl on the Train, Maybe in Another Life & The Good Girl.

WEAR WHITE JEANS THROUGH THE FALL





We are officially into September and even though the temperatures are still up there, I feel like I can now officially pull off wearing some of my fall clothing. I have been wanting to wear this bell sleeve tunic for so long and couldn't wait another week to style it. I decided to pair it with my white jeans and neutral sandals. White after Labor Day, gasp, I know, but today's blog post will prove to you that white is the way to go all year long.

FALL BAG TRENDS WITH VERA BRADLEY








I am so excited to team up with Vera Bradley today to showcase one of the bags from their fall collection & talk about some of the most popular bag trends for fall, one being top handle satchels.  As soon as I saw this bag, I knew it was the one that I needed to add to my collection for the fall. I love the structure of it but it still had a bright, fun pattern that was reminiscent of classic Vera Bradley prints.

A TIMELESS ACCESSORY





Today's blog post is all about one accessory that I have been wearing every day for years without fail. It's *timeless,* if you will ;)  In case you haven't caught on yet, I'm talking about my watch! These days when you ask someone the time, it seems like everyone checks their phone, but I personally feel naked when I'm not wearing a watch (anyone else?).  I'm excited to share the latest time piece that I've added to my collection for the fall: a Jord Watch.

LABOR DAY WEEKEND





Today I'm sharing an easy but stylish Labor Day outfit that I wore over this past weekend. My family were supposed to go out East but tropical Hermine ruined those plans so we stuck around town prepared for rain & windy conditions, but as of last night, still nothing in NY! (knock on wood!)
 Anyways, towards the end of the summer, I get super excited about wearing fall clothing, but have certain items that I'm never quite ready to pack away. Exhibit A: my denim shorts. I am giving them a few last wears & pairing them with some long sleeves tops & lightweight sweaters to ease my way into transitioning to fall. This ruffle, striped top is not only perfect for Labor Day weekend but also going to be so much fun to wear with skinny jeans into the fall. 

CLASSIC DATE NIGHT DRESS




Friday is not only one of my favorite days of the week because it means that the weekend has arrived, but it also usually means a date night for J & me.  While I totally enjoy activity dates (mini golf, anyone?!) and trips to the movies, my favorite dates include the ones where we get dressed up and go out to eat.  I love trying a new restaurant or visiting one of our regular favorite places on the weekends and this LBD from Tobi has been on repeat for date nights lately. It's so easy to just slip on, but looks amazing as soon as I do.

CULOTTE JUMPSUIT





Summer is coming to an end SO quickly! Can you believe it's already September 1st??? 

  I was pretty skeptical about culottes when they first became popular (and still am! I just can't quite figure out if this look flattering on me!) But the exception for me this summer was this culotte jumpsuit.  I felt like it almost looked like a midi dress and got so much wear out of this piece all summer long. Recently I realized that I never shared it with you all! Lucky for all of you it's currently 50% off! So snatch it up while the weather is still warm!
