I am super excited about today's outfit because it includes one of my favorite trends for the fall: velvet! 90's styles have been reemerging for a few seasons now, but this is the first season that velvet has really become popular and I could not be more excited.  Even the inexpensive pieces, like this dress (which is under $20 & available in 3 velvet shades!) looks glamorous and luxurious. 






This shirt dress is a little shorter than I typically prefer my dresses to be so I styled it with a cute pair of patterned diamond Berkshire tights and a pair of flat OTK boots so I would have a little extra coverage. Tights are a great way to show off  your stems through the fall & winter and Berkshire tights come in a range of designs to fit your personal style. I have some more great pairs that I plan to wear with my dresses as the temperatures continue to drop so stay tuned ;).   I love the way the diamond printed tights paired with my boots & velvet dress in this look! It is simple but interesting thanks to the range in fabrics.
