I posted an Instagram towards the end of last week about how I was a jeans & tee kinda gal & I don't think there's a truer statement than that! As a style blogger, of course, I love putting together outfits, but there are times when nothing beats the classics. News Flash: Classic does not mean boring!! I could wear jeans & a tee shirt for an entire week and I have a feeling each day my outfit would look totally different (style challenge for all of us right there!) Today's post shows you how easy it is to dress up your tried & true favorites with a couple of fun accessories!

1. Start with a crisp white tee & the perfect fitting pair of jeans. I went for a distressed pair & a tee with a ruffle hem as a way to upgrade my basics slightly. 
2. Add a stylish bag - a fun color, an interesting shape, some on trend pom poms or tassels, etc. 
3. Finish with a statement making pair of shoes. These BooHoo sandals pair just as well with my casual outfits as they do with my dressed up ones. They have quickly become a favorite of mine.
Three steps & you are out the door in an outfit that looks effortless and great on everyone.
