July 4th is one of my favorite holidays. Beach days, BBQs, fireworks & of course, showing extra love for our country by donning our red, white & blue. Today I'm sharing some outfit ideas for July 4th & some tips to pulling off red, white & blue without looking like an actual American flag ;)


1. Opt for stripes! This is a classic pattern & in any combo of red, white &/or blue, it looks totally patriotic but can be worn over and over again this summer with a pair of denim shorts or jeans.

 2. Go monochrome.  If the thought of wearing red, white AND blue makes you nervous, opt for just one or two of the shades. Pick one shade & wear it from head to toe like I did in this look with white. 

 3. Don't forget accessories. Keep your look simple and instead add some American spirit to your July 4th outfit with some statement accessories. (Think a striped tote, or some cute star sandals like the ones I wore here & definitely include a red lip!)
