Alright, so I'm gonna let you in on a secret today... I've been feeling a bit uninspired by my blog lately. I've been dealing with anxiety lately & have been working hard to make some changes that can get me back to feeling calm & in control of everything again but right now, a bunch of things just seem a bit off - you know what I mean? Maybe you do & maybe you don't, but to me, even things as easy as getting on the train for work have been a bit of a challenge. I thought about giving up blogging altogether but then I thought about how much joy it brings me to put together fun outfits, work with brands and connect with everyone that reads & follows my blog. Seriously, reading comments on posts is one of my favorite things to do because all of you manage to be the absolute SWEETEST people.

 I thought it might be good to switch up my post a bit today & share a few fun facts about me that you may or may not know. I love reading these posts & seeing what I have in common with other bloggers when they share them so hopefully you find this one to be fun & interesting & maybe we'll realize we have something in common besides our love of fashion blogs ;)

I turned 27 on July 15. Because of my birthday, my favorite number is 15. On my sister's 18th birthday, we got coordinating tattoos. Mine is roman numeral 15 on my foot (XV). 
Growing up, I thought I was going to end up becoming a teacher. Part of me still thinks I might end up as one someday.

Instead, I spend my days working as a promotions manager for a TV network in NYC. Blogging is just a hobby but can take up just as much time as my full time job!
Before I got my full time job, I worked at a day camp for 10 summers.  

 One summer before I went to college, I dyed my hair black - it was NOT a good look. I've been highlighting my hair blonde every since. Naturally, it's a dark brown color.

 On a typical day, the only makeup I wear is tinted moisturizer, bronzer, mascara & chap-stick.

 I met Jody on the beach a few minutes after I got pooped on by a bird. People say getting pooped on is good luck. I agree.

 When we first started dating, Jody & I were long distance for a few months while he was in college. Before he left, he got me the largest stuffed dog he could find. It still sleeps with me every night & takes up half my bed.

Jody and I visit one 'away' hockey arena per season. So far we have visited Philadelphia, North Carolina & Toronto. Next stop? Maybe Florida, Las Vegas or Arizona.

 My favorite TV shows change seasonally. This summer, my favorites are Younger, The Bachelorette (#TeamPeter forever) & Master Chef.

I love to read. I read a few books every month. Right now I'm in the middle of 'The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo.' 
I've never seen or read Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings & I've only seen the most recent Star Wars movie.

 When I like a song, I want to listen to it over & over & over again until I find a new song to obsess over. Right now, it's 'Play that Song' by Train.

As I've gotten older, I've really learned the meaning of 'quality over quantity' (but I still have too much stuff)
One of my favorite weekend activities involves cleaning out my room. Getting rid of the clutter makes me feel more organized & accomplished. 

My favorite color is yellow, but the color I wear most often is blue.

I still have and use my AOL email account. However I did turn off the 'You've got Mail' welcome voice since I found it slightly embarrassing.

My sneezes sound like coughs.

 I'm left handed.

 & the most recent fact of all, Jody & I got ENGAGED on Wednesday night! Sharing more details next week but until then, here's a sneak peek of how it went down...
