Never thought I would see the day that I styled an outfit with the color purple. Gonna be honest, it's not my favorite & when I heard that Ultra Violet was the 2018 color of the year, I was a little less than thrilled. BUT I decided to challenge myself & try it out, because fashion is all about taking risks, right?! SO here's my take on styling ultra violet, & I am fully aware that this shade is technically more lavender, but close enough!
Style Tip: I think there are a lot of ways to wear color - head to toe monochrome, with other complimentary colors, etc, but when wearing a color that pulls you out of your comfort zone, like purple does for me, I think you can't go wrong by styling the color with neutrals. I went simple by pairing this flirty skirt (now over 50% off!) with a white sweater & gray accessories.
