BEST DRESSED GUEST: FORMAL WEDDING
Been waiting all week to showcase this stunning dress & highlight formal wedding guest attire. It's not all that often that you get invited to a black tie event, but when you do, it's your chance to go all out!
Would you believe the dress I'm wearing is under $50?!? For a third time, this dress arrived from Pretty Little Thing & fit like a glove! Let's just say I was feeling myself when I first tried it on. I felt like a sexy Belle and called Jody and told him we needed to take one year anniversary photos so that I could wear this dress!! It also comes in black for those of you who want a more subdued color, but I couldn't resist the mustard tone for warm weather. Warning, this dress was a little sheer in the skirt depending on how the light hit it, so I would recommend wearing a slip underneath. Also, I am 5'4, for reference, and the length was still a little long even when paired with 4 inch heels!

BEST DRESSED GUEST: SEMI FORMAL WEDDING
I'm back to share the next dress in this mini series - a cocktail style wedding guest outfit! Personally, semi formal or cocktail attire weddings are the ones that I am most often invited to and I don't know about you, but I love to find a new dress for a special occasion. That can get SO expensive if you have a lot of events around the same time, so I was really excited to find that a majority of Pretty Little Thing's dresses are under $100! It's hard to say no to a new dress when it's also budget friendly ;)
For this look, I opted for this stunning dusty blue lace midi dress. It was, again, love at first sight when I saw this dress on their website & again, I was so happy with the dress when it arrived in person. Great quality, beautiful detailing & it fit like a glove! I also loved the sheer panels on the chest and below the knee on this dress. It was a great balance for the modesty of the short sleeves & crew neck.
When dressing for a semi formal wedding, you can choose a dress that is classic with a few fun touches, like a sweetheart neckline or lace fabric. This is truly a time to choose a dress that makes you feel your best! Pair it with glam jewelry, a clutch bag and some heels to finish off the look.
Check out some of the other cocktail dresses I am loving right now from Pretty Little Thing:
Rose Colored Lace Midi Dress
One Shoulder Midi Dress (comes in lots of colors!)
Black Lace High Neck Dress

BEST DRESSED GUEST: CASUAL WEDDING
I am so excited to kick off a mini series for this week to highlight some wedding guest dresses for spring/summer weddings. Today I'm starting with this dress from Pretty Little Thing for casual weddings. Make sure to stop back on Wednesday to see my cocktail attire wedding guest outfit & on Friday to see my formal wedding guest look.
Today's look features a chocolate brown polka dot dress from Pretty Little Thing. As soon as I saw this dress on their website, I had to have it. I loved the asymmetrical, ruffle shoulder, the midi length and the fun polka dot print. When it arrived, I was super impressed by the quality and fit! After all, it only cost $58!! I paired this dress with neutral accessories to allow the print to really stand out.
I love this dress for a casual spring or summer wedding, shower or engagement party. When the event is listed as more casual, it can be tough to decide what to wear, but I think those are some of the most fun to get dressed for. It's an opportunity to try out some different shapes, colors or prints!
