Sharing the sweetest gift idea that I gave my mom & sister for the holidays. All 3 of us love jewelry so what better gift than a set of necklaces that go together. Honestly, I was browsing the oNecklace website for a piece for myself when I came across the mother/daughter collection - I loved the idea but didn't want to leave my sister out. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had pieces for a mother & more than one daughter! A closer look at the necklaces I chose... I was able to totally personalize the necklaces; choose between silver, gold or rose gold for the necklace, the length of the chain and personalization options. I chose to get my and my sister's initials engraved on the hearts while my mom's piece has the outlines of the hearts.
Each of the necklaces came in a cute leather gift bag, so all I had to do for the holidays was hand them out!
If there's one jewelry trend I'm loving right now, it's statement earrings! They act as such a fun, flattering frame to your face & there are endless styles that you can try to suit your personal style. I borrowed this tassel pair from Nectar Nectar. I love the bright colors & tassel ends for summer. They also aren't too heavy which is a huge detail that I look for when I purchase statement earrings. Something tugging at your earlobe all day is a big no-no in my book so I love that these are a statement but not heavy.
PS. I have officially decided that Aerie makes the best jumpsuits of all time. This cute peplum one is from there & it's so soft, flowy & effortless. I'm obsessed!
Today I'm so excited to share my latest piece of personalized jewelry. It's a piece that I've gotten a lot of questions about & even though it's tiny, this little piece makes an impression! I'm talking about my new rose gold 'J' necklace from AUrate. I got it right after Jody graduated the NYPD & haven't taken it off since! I wear personalized jewelry all the time so it's no surprise that I chose this necklace to add to my growing jewelry collection, although AUrate made it tough to choose because a lot of their necklaces are stunning! I was pleasantly surprised to see how high quality, dainty & beautiful this necklace was in person. It looks amazing with everything from jeans & a tee to dresses - I even wore it to my bridal shower!
After ordering from AUrate & loving my necklace so much, I want more!! I have been looking at their site regularly to find the next piece of jewelry I want to add to my collection - I'm thinking a dainty ring! Through spending time on their site, I learned more about the brand & fell in love with them even more...AUrate uses the highest quality materials, is based in NY & gives back to the area by donating books to schools & students around NYC (love this!) & all of their pieces come with a LIFETIME warranty.
Necklace: c/o Aurate (only $200 for fine jewelry! That's a win in my book!) TGIF, am I right??! Jody & I are finally going to see Marvel's Infinity War tomorrow. We have been waiting to see this movie & for months & have been avoiding spoilers the last couple of weeks since it's been in theaters. Have you seen this movie yet? Do you plan to?
I am extra excited about today's post because my mom is joining me in these photos! She takes my photos sometimes but getting the two of us in front of the camera was lots of fun for us!We enjoyed picking out coordinating outfits & showing off our latest piece of matching LAGOS jewelry 😉 (an early Mother's Day gift for her & just one of the ways to spoil your mom this weekend. Read on for a few additional ideas!)
1. Head to brunch. What better way to celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday than with brunch?? Not only is it a great way to spend time together, but who doesn't love pancakes, omelettes and mimosas on a Sunday morning?? Bonus points if you cook brunch yourself! When Mom enters the kitchen, greet her with a homemade spread of muffins, eggs and of course, mimosas! I love homemade breakfasts in our house because it means you get to stay in your pajamas for a lazy morning! ;)
2. Plan a spa day. Whether you create a spa day in the comfort of your own home or head out to a salon, treating your mom to some R&R is never a bad idea. My mom, sister & I love getting our nails done & so often, when we go together, my mom treats us. This weekend when we head to the salon, my sister & I plan to treat our mom to a relaxing manicure/pedicure. Other options include facials & massages. Just thinking about it makes me feel relaxed....
3. Gift her a timeless piece. Over the holidays, my mom gifted my sister & I rings that matched one that she owned. I loved so much that we all had a matching piece to wear daily, so this year as I thought of what to gift her for Mother's Day, another matching mother-daughter piece came to mind. I already have a few pieces of LAGOS jewelry that I adore & I knew my mom would love a classic bracelet as well. I picked out the Signature Caviar beaded bracelet for her & was so excited to see her reaction when she saw it! She hasn't taken the bracelet off since she got it :). Other great gift options for Mom include these pearl earrings or the heart locket pendant necklace.
Today's post is all about jewelry. Statement jewelry can be such a great way to dress up a basic outfit, but it can be tricky to know what styles of jewelry to pair with different types of outfits. Today I'm breaking it all down for you...
Statement Necklaces:
Pair a statement necklace with a crew neck tee shirt. The more simple the outfit, the better in this case to really let your necklace stand out.
Pair a longer statement necklace or pendant necklace with a turtleneck top/sweater for an elevated look. The longer length won't interfere with the neckline of your top.
Opt for an extra bold statement necklace when pairing it with a button down shirt. It makes a typically masculine shirt style look girly & fancy. Try buttoning the blouse all the way up to the collar so that the necklace peeks out & lays flat underneath.
Style tip: When wearing a statement necklace, always opt for delicate earrings. The two will overpower each other if worn at the same time! Another option - go without earrings altogether!
Choker Necklaces:
Off the shoulder styles are the perfect match for choker necklaces. They allow you to add a fun accessory to your look while continuing to show off the unique neckline of your top or dress.
Scoop neck styles go great with the trendy wrap choker styles. The styles of each piece highlights the other perfectly; it's like they were made for each other!
When layering dainty styles, pair two together for a trendy twist on an everyday look. I always try to layer two dainty pieces in different shapes; for example, a bar necklace with a single stone or lariat necklace.
Styling bold necklaces together is very similar to styling dainty styles, except everything is larger! Continue to keep in mind the lengths & shapes of each piece. When pairing more than one statement necklace, be sure to keep the rest of your outfit simple. A striped tee allowed my necklaces to be the showcase of this outfit.
For a bold braceletlook, pair lots of colored, beaded bracelets together. Layer them up your arm & don't be afraid to mix metals & textures too! This style is the epitome of 'go big or go home.'
Pair your statement dangling earrings with an off the shoulder style. The open neckline will really show off your statement earrings. Don't forget to pull your hair back too!
Choose complementary colors. Like with lipstick & beauty products, certain shades look better with certain coloring. With your earrings so close to your face & hair, it's important to think about what shades look good on you & opt for earrings in those colors! Shades that looks good on everyone? Neutrals & metallics!
Today I'm sharing the one thing every girl REALLY wants for Valentine's Day: jewelry! Flowers & candy are thoughtful & I have my hopes up that J shows up with tons of sweets for me on Valentine's Day but there is nothing like a keepsake piece to show your love for your SO.
Ever since last summer when I got my first piece of LAGOS jewelry, they have been one of my favorite luxury jewelry brands. I got another bracelet for myself around the holidays & loved how the two bracelets looked paired together. This time around, I came so close to choosing another bracelet to add to my arm party, but at the last minute, I thought it was time to switch it up & chose a rope necklace! I couldn't be happier with this gorgeous piece!
I love that LAGOS offers timeless luxury pieces for women of all ages & personal styles (think boho, minimalist or glam!). Plus, you don't have to break the bank for a gorgeous piece of jewelry. Pearl earrings & this ring are only $150. I love the key pendant & the heart necklace for Valentine's Day (both are under $250!). If you want to splurge this Valentine's Day, check out these gold knot earrings, tassel necklace or diamond bracelet; all priced between $500-$1000.
In honor of Valentine's Day, I just had to pull out a red sweater. I actually love the way this v-neck sweater showcases my necklace! These two pieces are like a match made in fashion heaven!
I'm super excited to be sharing a few Valentine's Day gift ideas for your gals (think mom, sister, BFF, etc). If you haven't heard of Keep Collective yet, it's time to jump on the bandwagon because these bracelets are insanely awesome. They are made to order, with charms starting at under $10! These bracelets will make the perfect Valentine's Day gift for all your girlfriends, plus read on for the chance to win a special bracelet as a Valentine's Day treat for yourself!
My mom was actually the first to get a Keep Collective bracelet and as soon as I saw it, I knew I needed one too. I loved the silver mesh bracelet and sentimental charms she chose (hearts surrounding a family tree - all charms are under $10!). As soon as I had the opportunity to create my own bracelet, I jumped at the chance. I opted to create a slightly edgy everyday bracelet, starting with a red band and adding a bunch of bar charms (here, here & here) & finishing with an engraved nameplate charm! (PS. Engraving is free!)
GIVEAWAY: With Valentine's Day right around the corner, I am really feeling the love this week so I wanted to gift a bracelet for one lucky winner! I created a pewter colored band and added a gorgeous rose gold love charm & a rose quartz stone (pictured above!). Follow the directions on my Instagram pic of this photo for your chance to win! XO,
Michelle Paige PS. This month, all letter charms are 50% off at Keep Collective! You all know I love a personalized piece of jewelry, & an initial is a great starter charm for a bracelet!
Let's talk about the ultimate holiday gift: jewelry. I can't tell you enough how much I adore a piece of timeless jewelry, especially when it is gifted to me from a loved one (looking at you, J!). Today I'm showing off my latest LAGOS bangle (so classic, I don't know a woman who wouldn't love this gift!). Plus, I'm sharing some of my favorite luxury gifts for the splurge worthy people on your shopping list 😉
I can always count on LAGOS to design stunning, timeless pieces. They have necklaces, bracelets and earrings ranging from metallic silver & gold to the cool Caviar color collection which will add a pop to even the simplest outfit. I opted for a classic beaded bangle that doesn't require much to make it stand out. I paired with a simple holiday outfit and my Caviar Color LAGOS bracelet. The two pair perfectly together & we all know I love a good arm party :)

1. Michael Kors came out with smart watches this year & they are the prettiest ones I have seen. 2. For the beauty buff: the La Mer Radiance collection 3. A 'worth it' investment. These Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots are high quality, comfortable and have a slim fit around the leg making your legs look miles long. 4. A classic wide brim fedora by Rag & Bone in a trendy color. 5. Because what girl doesn't want Chanel for Christmas? 6. I thought I was obsessed with this Chloe cross body before. Now that I know it comes in blush, I'm in love. 7. The most classic of all the classic gifts: a Burberry scarf 8. The best of the best when it comes to Nylon totes is a Long Champ tote. 9. Another classic by Burberry, this time in a trench coat. You (or the lucky person you gift this to) will have this coat forever. 10. The bracelet by LAGOS featured in today's post. It is truly a must have piece of jewelry. 11. This Clarisonic radiance kit leaves you with a brighter, more even complexion. Who doesn't want that for the holidays? 12. I am obsessed with these Gucci sneakers. Warning: they are a splurge, but what better time to treat yourself or someone else, than the holidays? 13. My favorite straightener is this one by GHD partly because it comes in this copper shade
