CROP IT STUD IT

Last week, I showed you how to wear a cropped sweater over a dress; this week I paired the same sweater with a chiffon tank blouse & a pair of distressed jeans to create a totally different look.

gladiator

I have been lusting over knee high gladiator sandals for a while now, but it wasn't until I tried on this Stuart Weitzman pair that I became obsessed, & I mean OBSESSED, with them. As a person blessed with 'chicken legs,' as I affectionately call my bony ankles &  skinny calves, I have a hard time finding knee-high boots that stand up on my leg, let alone a sandal.  The Stuart Weitzman brand makes this sandal (& many of their boots) with an elastic panel that helps keep the shoe super fitted around the leg, perfect for people like me! 

 I was lucky enough to receive these sandals as my birthday gift from my parents a month early, so that I can wear them all summer long!

SLOUCHY PANTS

According to my (possibly) new favorite show, The Fabulist, slouchy pants are featured on the Fabu-List this week. I was skeptical of the show's claim that these pants could be worn for any occasion (see examples here) but I am a fan of any stylish outfit that puts comfort before fashion, so I decided to test them out by dressing them up for a work day. I love how the outfit came out; the wedges & button down top were just enough added polish to take the pants from sick day to work day. What do you think of slouchy pants? Fab or Drab?
