SUMMER JEWELRY WITH LAGOS

Today I am so excited to team up with LAGOS jewelry to talk about something I wear everyday but rarely chat about on my blog: BRACELETS! Click back on any of my older outfit posts and I can 99.9% guarantee you that I will be wearing at least one bracelet (usually more!) on my wrist.  There is nothing I love more than a classic and beautiful jewelry piece so a LAGOS bracelet was an obvious and perfect addition to my arm party.

MY FAVORITE SUMMER LIP SHADES

A quick beauty post today to share the latest and greatest of my summer lip colors.  You may notice from my photos that I have a pretty basic makeup routine (a little foundation and some bronzer on my face, some mascara and eyebrow pencil on my eyes).  The area of makeup that I really like to experiment with is my lip colors! Today I'm sharing my absolute favorite lip colors for the season.

1. Bodyography Electric Lip Slide in Caught in the Act. This lip color applies like a gloss but has staying power like a stain.  This color is definitely the brightest of the bunch and a little goes a long way.  I love wearing this shade with an outfit that needs a bit of excitement.  This shade is a showstopper for sure.

2. Bare Minerals Marvelous Moxie in Rebel. This light pink shade looks like your natural lips but better.  Slightly glossy with a girly, rosy tint, I have yet to find a summer outfit that doesn't look good with this lip color.

3. Laqa & Co Cheeky Lip in Mixtape.  I am a lover of lip crayons since I find they are the easiest to apply on the go.  I love the classic, bright red shade of this crayon and often wear it in my blog posts since it only takes a few swipes for some bold color.  This Laqa & Co crayon is a 2 for 1 deal since it can be used on your cheeks too (use sparingly - it's a bright one!)

4. ELF Lip Balm in Nude.  The perfect nude shade to match those summer tans plus it has SPF 15. This balm goes on creamy and isn't sticky at all.  At only $3, this is one product I am always stocking up on.  I wear this nude shade on weekends (& even to the beach!) when I want my face to look a little extra put together but still super natural.

GET YOUR BEST STITCH FIX

In case you missed out, a couple of weeks ago, I shared the pieces I received in my first Stitch Fix (read part 1 & part 2 here).  I had been hesitant about giving up control of picking out my own pieces but was pleasantly surprised with what my stylist picked out for me and even ended up keeping one of the tops! I liked the experience so much, I decided to keep my fixes coming and received my second fix last week.  This fix, again, included some great items and again, I decided to keep one.  Today I'm sharing a few tips to help you all receive your best Stitch Fix box yet.

RED WHITE & BLUE

Happy Fourth of July!! Hope you all are enjoying your long weekend's as much as I am! I'm never ready for the weekend to end, so I am totally appreciating this Monday off! Today I'm sharing one of the many red, white and blue outfits that I wore over the weekend.  As I mentioned on Friday, my family spent the weekend in East Hampton which is so nice & relaxing.  We got a bit dressed up one night to go out to eat and this outfit was perfect for the occasion!

JULY 4TH OUTFIT IDEA

We are heading out to East Hampton for the long weekend & I am so excited for  fireworks, BBQs and beach days with my family!  I wore this dress last year for the 4th of July (seen here) and wasn't going to post about it again this year, but really, it's the most perfect July 4th dress.  Last year, I paired it with contrasting, bold red accessories so this time around I decided to style this piece with coordinating blue & white pieces.
